Set A B-day On A B-day
Yesterday on my birthday, we calendered the birthday of our daughter. Again, the doctor’s have deemed it necessary to induce labor. It’s a case of, let’s bring that baby to the show as soon as we think she’s ready! Because of this, we have the less than normal convenience of setting THE date. To get to this moment, prepping for the day has been key. We took another...

Where The Wild Things Are
I was just thinking about what I want to share with her… She’s gonna be itty bitty still when this thing comes in via NetFlicks…and then eventually lands in our library collection. But I hope my girl enjoys this tale. and this music… Arcade Fire - Funeral

Nutty Weakness
We have heard tales of other couples finding themselves stuck at the hospital, post delivery, and without any munchie options available. They say momma is starving once baby joins the party! Thank you Radiohead, thank you itunes, thank you...
I didn’t get introduced to rock music (the oh-so-good stuff) until I was at least taking my exit from junior high/middle school and heading to the next level. Around this time, I remember a moment where I snatched ‘Ok Computer’ from my brother’s slim yet growing CD stash back then. He had swiped the same disc from a guy he was playing bass with at the time… All this...

A Rock-A-Bye Preface
26 years of age by all definitions qualifies me as a young father to be. April of this year will bring gallons upon gallons of drool, eventually some awesome infant squeal time, encounters with some very odd baby products, on top will be an infinite amount of ‘stinky, realism’ for this rookie dad to encounter. Sidelined at times will be those concert tickets, music downloads and...
