First Scare

My little girl banged her head. I still feel shaken.

I was sitting at my machine upstairs. Ms. Wiggles was playing on an elevated surface behind. Yes, a Daddy’s mistake.

She’s displayed the cute ability to scoot and discover, scoot and discover. I should have known better. I’ve underestimated my girl on the day she turned 6 months old.

Next thing I heard was a large thump off the pine floors. I spun around.

She had made contact, little forehead meet the wood. Of course she is fine.

But she screamed. Oh boy did she scream. Daddy freaked.

Now I know a parent’s panic? If so, it does not feel at all good.

Let’s try to avoid moments like this…
