Holiday Traditions
In April, we became a family of three.
Now that Christmas is upon us, my better half and I have been tossing around developing traditions that we’d like to have for little Lilly to remember when she becomes older.
For example, we have decided the following will occur annually:
On the night of Christmas Eve, we will sit around a fire and watch a specific and lovingly humorous version of Charles Dicken’s “A Christmas Carol” and perhaps a lesser known of Christmas special put on by one fat cat…also known as Garfield.
Additionally, we will spread ‘Reindeer Munch’ across our front lawn.
The idea of this recipe being:
Sprinkle on the lawn at night
The moon will make it sparkle bright
As Santa’s reindeer fly and roam
This will guide them to your home.
Santa will also have his Chocolate Chip cookies and a glass of Milk. My taste buds…err…St. Nick’s taste buds will be rewarded nicely at our place!!
As for Christmas Morning…we still have some planning to do…I’ll share our “to be tradition” a bit later…
